After many months, DinoTeoli.com is finally back online with a new look and better content. Sometimes life creates some delays in gettng things done, however as long as you persevere and work through it, eventually it will get done. So here we are, with the new and improved blog website. I made the decision to create my own site through Wix.com. It is amazing what you can do with services like Wix.com and it saves you a ton of money, especially when you are starting off like myself. The only thing is that you need to learn their platform and put in the time to create it. I enjoy this stuff so for me, it was placing my creative talents into action. This is an example of the type of information you will find on this site and on my blog.
I have been looking at ways of generating income online for a couple of years now. I have to admit that I have had my share of misses during this period. I view this adventure as a long-term project. I currently have a day job and take care of my blogs at night and weekends.
Some might ask what qualifies me to give my opinion on online business or on business in general? I have had a career in the retail industry and have experience from the bottom up. I have occupied many different positions in my career, including at the Corporate level. I know what drives these companies and business in general and why they make certain types of decisions. There might be different industries in the business world, however in the end, business principles are business principles. Every company has their income, expenses, and profits, if any. In addition, currently, there is much importance given to branding and marketing. I have worked in different industries, and when it is all said and done, it all comes down if the business is profitable, and if not, how to make it profitable. Furthermore, I have always been an observer of business in general since I was a kid. In high school, I won the mock stock market competition, just to illustrate how long I have had an interest in business. To this day, I am a stock market investor.
I want to bring you an opinion from a consumer, outsider point of view. I am no expert, but I am definitely an excellent observer. I found that the best return on your investment is to start an online business. It is the least expensive venture you can try. This will be the subject of a future article, however that is the reason I wanted to start this blog. I wanted to share my experiences and give you my opinion of various programs, products, and information on online business. All the programs and products that you will see on this site, or that I speak about, I have used myself, so I will be talking about personal experience.
I also want to take this a step further. I am a true believer in personal growth and that learning is a life-long journey. There will be several blogs and video posts that will deal with this aspect of business. Recently, this notion of personal growth has started to get momentum and more popular. All you need to do is to look at Tony Robbins or JT Foxx sold out conferences to see that people are in search of a greater self and greater success. The success of Hay House Publishing, who specializes in self help books and courses, is another indicator.
This is basically what you can expect from my personal blog. Keep in mind this is a work in progress. I am open to any suggestions you might have to improve the site and the blog. Please do not be shy to let me know if you agree or disagree with what I bring forward, or if you have any topic suggestions you would want me to tackle. I want to this platform to become a place where entrepreneurs can have a discussion.
