The Cometh of the New World Order

I never thought I would live through a pandemic, and we did. I never thought we Canadians would be at odds with the United States. That is our current reality. Since the pandemic, it feels like war times. My grandparents would describe the war as a time of uncertainty, supply chain disruptions and scarcity of many basic products like flour and sugar. We somewhat saw this during the pandemic, but I foresee the present time as being much, much worse.

The new USA Administration has a warped vision of the world. They are playing the victim card: screaming at the top of their lungs that everyone is trying to take advantage of them. They want to use Canada as an example to tell all the nations if we can treat a close ally like this, you can imagine what we can do to you. When you think about it, it is very moblike. You can make a parallel comparison to a protection racket: pay me and we will protect you. Don’t pay and live with the circumstances. That is exactly the attitude the USA is having with Canada. A consolation prize for Canada is that other nations are also receiving the same treatment.

In the world of diplomacy, nothing is perfect. I must admit that if the goal was to destabilize the USA allies, on the short term, Trump achieved his goal. All nations do not know on what foot to dance. His approach internally and externally is to quickly shoot in all directions so that it creates chaos, so everyone is destabilized. Even his close guard does not really know what will come next.

Some are in favor of Chaos Theory. I witnessed this while at a retailer I worked for many years. Maybe there is some good in the application of this theory, but its positive only for management. The emotional roller coaster that it brings from its unpredictability did not make this a pleasant experience. This is exactly what the USA administration is currently applying. At first, Canada bought into all the threats of tariffs and annexing Canada as a 51st state. They were running in all directions to try to please the new sheriff in town, like a mob boss. All it did was make it worse. The minute Canada stood up straight, the Americans started to threaten other allies and nations. Legacy news channels are having a field day with the Trump 2.0 administration. It looks more like a reality show than the administration of the most powerful nation in the world. For how long will the US will keep that status. This administration is making it hard to see the United States to be a continuing to be a force in world diplomatic relations.

If you look at the first month of this administration, you can make parallels to how Hitler got into power and how he broke down the democracy in Germany. I am not saying that we are facing a Nazi Regime, but I think the intentions are the same. Trump has proven to be anti-war and is attempting to somewhat to bring the end of the Ukraine war. However, war could take different forms, and economic warfare could be just as destructive. As much as Americans might think that they are technologically advanced, China has made much progress in that field, and no one really knows to what extent. If the Americans are not careful, they might be really surprised at the outcome.

I believe we are entering an era where a new World Order will be established. Ray Dalio spoke about past World Orders and is best described here in one of my previous posts. It’s quite interesting and relate to similar factors we are currently facing.

The way the US is behaving, they will alienate themselves from the world. They might try to align themselves with Russin and Chinese regimes, but in the end they all want to be the supreme power in the world. It’s all about power. They will screw the US the minute they can like Vince McMahan screwed Bret Hart at the Montreal Screw Job.

Already the US is not really liked in the world. Everything that is disliked from the US: arrogance and defiance is personified with the current President. The pure arrogance even has Canadians resenting the US. I never thought I would see an anti-American feeling in Canada, but we currently do. This atmosphere is getting stronger every time the President says he wants to annex Canada.  If Canadians are starting to feel this way towards the Americans, I could imagine what the rest of the world is thinking. Let’s hope that Canada will be able to build bridges with new allies that will make us less reliant on the US. Our closest friend has just turned on us. A more constructive approach would be to discuss their concerns and come to a mutual agreement. Maybe in the end that will happen, but it surely does not look that way at the present time.

If this whole charade fails, the US will be left behind in the dust and China will become the superpower. The only reason China is still behind the US is the value of the US Dollar. China is a leader in almost all categories like technology and real estate. They own most of the US Debt. If the US would lose the status of their US Dollar being the currency of business, world business, that would destroy the US since they have so much debt. If the US dollar declines in value, China will just take over as the world<s superpower. Already they are setting the table for that to materialize. The internal divisions in the US combined with this arrogant attitude towards other nations does not put the US in a very good position. We may be witnessing the decline of the American empire.

Despite this glooming atmosphere head speared by the US, until next time, keep on smiling. No one can take that away from you !!!!
